I joined NYDM exec because my father battled cancer during my junior year of high school and I am too familiar with all the terrible ways in which cancer can affect a family. I am lucky that my father is now in remission, but I will always want to give back to help in the fight against cancer, especially to help families and children who have to endure that fight.
